You are invited to come and explore practical ways to deepen intimacy with God through fellowship, teaching, and sharing life together. Next Step Discipleship Classes

Wherever you are on your journey of faith, you are invited to take the next step towards growing into an emotionally healthy, mature disciple of Jesus Christ. We offer a series of classes to help you take that next step.

  • Class 101: New Member Orientation

If you are considering becoming a Christian or joining Red Hill as a follower of Jesus, or if you have questions about Christianity or the church, you are invited to join us for the next “New Member Orientation: Class 101.” This class examines the core teachings of the Bible, the nature of the Christian faith, the Lutheran understanding of the faith, and what it means to be a member of this particular body of Christ, Red Hill Lutheran Church and School.

The next class will be on Sunday, January 13th, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Christian Life Center (CLC). Registration for the class can be made on Sundays by marking your Worship Response Card or by calling or emailing Donna Kunz, at 714-544-3131 ext.100 or dkunz@redhillchurch.org. Registration closes Wednesday, January 9th.

  • Class 201: disciplines for disciples

The vision of our church is to make Christ-centered, emotionally healthy disciples of Jesus, one life at a time. But what does this mean and how do we do it? We believe a disciple is a “student” or an “apprentice” of Jesus. We are learning to live our lives as Jesus would live them if he were us. Through our following of Jesus, we are being transformed into his likeness. We grow and deepen our discipleship through five core spiritual disciplines - Worship, Bible Study, Biblical Community, Prayer, and Service. This class takes an in-depth look at each of these disciplines and is offered annually. For more information, contact Pastor Joel.

  • Class 301: finding My fit

Class 301: Finding My Fit, is the third class in our discipleship process that is designed to help our members understand their unique ministry in the church and world. Participants gain a Biblical understanding of Spiritual Gifts, receive tools to help them identify their gifts and unique personal attributes, and learn how to apply these attributes in ministry to others. We encourage all of our members to take this class, especially those who are rooted in their faith and ready to begin serving others. This class is offered annually. For more information, contact Pastor Joel.
