  • rEV. Dr. Seth Britton

    Senior pastor, Ext. 110

    Pastor Seth has been ordained since 1998. Prior to being called as Senior Pastor of Red Hill Lutheran Church in 2010, Pastor Seth served as Associate Pastor at Red Hill for over 10 years. Pastor Seth has a Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fullerton and received his Master of Divinity from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, California. He received his Doctorate from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. Pastor Seth is married to Julie and has three children and three grandchildren.   • Dr. Paul Marquardt

    Principal, Ext. 114

    Dr. Paul Marquardt has worked in education for over 28 years, having served as an elementary school teacher and principal, as well as a college professor and assistant dean at Concordia University, Irvine. Dr. Marquardt has a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Administration and a doctorate in Organizational Leadership. He enjoys working with students, parents, and faculty to bring education and learning to life. Dr. Marquardt is married and has two children and one grandchild.

  • donna kunz

    Executive assistant to the Senior pastor, ext. 100

    Donna has been a member of Red Hill Lutheran Church for over 24 years. Donna is the editor of The Vine, Red Hill's quarterly journal. Previously, Donna served on the RHLC Public Relations Committee and was subsequently appointed Chairman of the Public Relations Committee and a member of the Church Council. She has also been a Communion server and an usher. Donna graduated from California State University, Fullerton, with a B.A. in Communications. Contact Donna at dkunz@redhillchurch.org

  • james martin schaefer

    Arts & worship director, ext. 102

    Marty, as many people know him, has a thriving career as a professional singer in genres ranging from opera to classical concert. He has received wide acclaim in numerous Operatic roles and has appeared as a soloist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, the Pacific Symphony Orchestra, the Boston Pops Esplanade! Orchestra, the Pacific Chorale, the Long Beach Symphony, and many others. He attended California State University, Fullerton, graduating with a B.A. in Music Education, and he was a member of Opera Pacific's O.P.E.R.A. resident artist program.   • isaiah coughran

    Director of contemporary worship, ext. 108

    Isaiah's musical gifts are vast, and his incredible talents are shared every week as he leads the Praise Band during Sunday morning's Contemporary Worship Service and on Wednesday mornings, throughout the school year, at the 8:45am School Chapel service. Isaiah, a gifted song writer, was signed to a record label and has toured the United States, Canada, Japan and the Philippines. He has also been featured on several local radio stations.   • Beth Stoffregen

    Director of Children's ministry, ext. 103

    Beth was born and raised in a small farming community in Illinois; but has lived in Southern California since 1990. Beth has been active in various church ministries her entire life, including Music Ministry, Contemporary Worship, Small Group Ministry, Women’s Ministry, Cursillo and Children’s Ministry. Prior to coming to Red Hill, Beth served as the Children’s Ministry Assistant at Mount of Olives Lutheran Church in Mission Viejo. Beth is married to Bill and they have two adult children.   • Phil gaylor

    DIRECTOR OF Biblical Community and Discipleship

    Phil has been serving as a Youth and Family Minister for the last 33 years here in Southern California. Phil holds a Bachelor's Degree in Youth and Evangelism from Concordia University, Irvine. Phil and Tracy have been married since 2016, love to travel, and have five adult children and one granddaughter. Contact Phil at pgaylor@redhillchurch.org

  • Cyndi Tully

    Church and School Administrator, Ext. 107

    Cyndi Tully was born in Southern CA but grew up in Visalia CA.  After getting her B.A. in Music and English from Concordia University, Irvine, she moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and managed Christian Bookstores and directed Handbells at churches.  Cyndi moved back to Southern California to be close to six of her Godchildren. She has been attending Red Hill for over nine years.

  • lis fortner

    Church & school accountant, ext. 101

    Lis and her family became members of Red Hill in 1995 through Red Hill Lutheran School. Lis enjoys her volunteer activities - Assistance League of Santa Ana and the Tustin Community Foundation Partners in Parks program. Lis and her husband Gary have two grown children.  Lis joined the Red Hill staff in 2001. Contact Lis at lfortner@redhillschool.org

  • jason harney

    director of music/principal conductor

    A native of Orange County, Jason received his degree in choral conducting at Chapman University, and a Master of Arts degree in Worship Leadership at Azusa Pacific University. Jason directs the Chancel Choir, Jubilee Bells, RHL Children's Choir, Special Music, and classical music concerts. Jason and his wife Mindy have six children and one grandchild.  They are happy to call Red Hill Lutheran their church home. Contact Jason at jharney@redhillchurch.org  

  • dr. Linda Brown

    Organist & Resident keyboardist

    Dr. Brown earned a B.A. in Music Education at Whittier College, a M.M in Organ Performance from USC, a M.A in Educational Administration from the University of San Francisco, and a D.M.A. from USC.


    Dr. Brown retired after 38 years of teaching in the public schools of California, and has expanded her work here at Red Hill from Organist to also directing the Jubilee Bell Choir and the Children's Choir. Contact Dr. Brown at lindabrown@redhillchurch.org
