The book of Ezekiel is a mixture of poetic, artistic description and detailed prose. Many of the symbols, actions, and pictures used by Ezekiel appear again in the New Testament book of Revelation. Like Revelation, it can be a difficult book to understand. And like Revelation, it was designed to be a book of both warning and hope.
