Christian Learning Center (CLC)
As we enter the Advent season, you’re invited to join us for a special four-week Advent Bible Study exploring the rich history and meaning behind the Advent tradition. Together, we’ll learn about the historical significance of the Advent wreath, its symbolism in the life of the Church, and how each candle guides us in preparing for the coming of Christ. Grounded in a Lutheran understanding of Advent as a season of waiting, repentance, and hopeful expectation, we will walk through the themes represented by the candles—Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love—and reflect on how they shape our spiritual preparation for Christmas. Each week, we will open Scripture, engage in discussion, and consider practical ways to live out these Advent themes in our daily lives as we await the celebration of Christ’s birth and His promised return. Join us as we seek to slow down, listen, and prepare our hearts during this sacred season. All are welcome!
